[News] TVXQ Leaves Behind a Legend in Japan′s Nissan Stadium

TVXQ (DBSK) broke another record and left another large footprint in K-Pop history.

Through its TVXQ Live Tour 2013 Time concert held at the Nissan Stadium from August 17-18, the group proved that its presence couldn′t be replaced by any other, entertaining a total of 144,000 fans.

Fans held up their red light sticks, shouting out the names of the members and never cooling down for even a second.

Since April, TVXQ has been touring domes in Japan, starting at the Saitama Super Arena and going through the Sapporo Dome, Nagoya Dome, Fukuoka Yahoo Japan Dome, Osaka Kyosera Dome and the Tokyo Dome.

Finally, at the Nissan Stadium, the duo concluded its tour, rounding off with a record of about 850,000 fans gathered across 18 shows.

TVXQ is the first foreign artist to perform at the Nissan Stadium, which can hold a total of 72,000 at once. Only 11 previous Japanese teams have performed in the venue, including such legendary singers as X-Japan, SMAP and Mr. Children. With the concerts, TVXQ also rose to legend status in the country.

The scale was even proven by the fact that tickets sold across the two days added up to a whopping 16.1 billion won.

During the show, TVXQ filled the three hours given them with explosive performances and vocals.

The duo appeared at a 22m high stage to perform Fated. The performance ran into those for Android, Superstar and I Don′t Know, bringing up the temperature.

As if to show they were touched at the fans′ passion, the two TVXQ members bowed down in deep thanks when they got to greet their fans after the opening.

U-know Yunho said, "We′re finally in Nissan Stadium. It′s hot outside, but let′s forget about it and make this the best memory of this summer."

Max Changmin added, "I hope we can fulfill the dream of holding this stadium live performance together. I hope you continue to support us to the end."

The group then went on to perform YK3, Purple Line and Humanoids. The square-shaped stage that ran through the floor level helped bring the group closer to fans.

The members also exploded with emotion in ballad performances for Still and I Know.

The highlight of the show were the solo performances the members had especially put together for this tour. U-know Yunho appeared in a suit with a stand mike to sing T Style, while Max Changmin sang Rock With You with a guitar around his neck.

Catch Me was the song that brought the entire concert to a close. Fans made sure to get on their feet for a standing ovation and loud cheers.

Max Changmin said after the concert, "We′ve now turned another new page in TVXQ′s history," while U-know Yunho said, "I′m so full of emotion thanks to our audience. It was the best, and I′ll work harder in the future."

This, of course, won′t be the end for TVXQ, as it proved through the concert that its future will hold more challenges and stunning achievements to come.
