IU-Lee Hyun Woo Clarifies, 'Friends Can go to the Movies Together'
Singer IU and actor Lee Hyun Woo who recently was caught up in a scandal together, clarified the rumor.
On August 8, photos of the two near a movie theater in Seoul was captured and posted online.
Lee Hyun Woo’s agency commented, “The two became close friends after being MC’s together on ‘Inkigayo’. The two were free at the same time and decided to go watch a movie together. Isn’t it ok for friends to go to the movies together.”
IU’s agency also stated, “It is true that they watched a movie together, and both their managers and staff members were there as well.”
Many internet users are now believing that they are close friends instead of dating due to the prompt statement released by both sides agencies.
