Group Tohoshinki (also known as TVXQ!) has finally finished their TIME tour that took place across the largest concert venues in Japan. The last performances of the tour took place on August 17th and 18th at the Nissan Stadium, which was turned completely red by the fans of the duo.

During the stadium performances, the group sang a total of 29 songs over a three hour period. 144,000 fans (72,000 each day) were able to experience the glorious performance by the two in the huge stage.

This performance also had an utmost special meaning for the group and the Korean genre in Japan. Only the top national singers could step onto the stadium stages, and yet the two singers from Korea conquered the same area. Singers/Groups such as B’z, SMAP, and X-Japan are one of the very few who were able to perform at the prestigious stage. The group is the first foreign/international group to grace the stage.

Debuting in Korea (December 26th, 2003) and Japan (April 27th, 2005), members Yunho and Changmin have left a huge milestone in their 10 year career. The earnings from this event totaled up to be over 160 million won (1 ticket cost 9800 yen).

2013 is a year that Tohoshinki will claim as their best (as of yet). They also were the 4th international artist to have a dome tour (behind Bon Jovi, Eagles, and Billy Joel), which took place at the Tokyo, Kyocera, Sapporo, Nagoya, and Yahoo! Japan domes. The total number of fans that attended the tour turned out to be an astounding 850,000, making it the biggest tour for any Korean artist.

-Beating the extreme heart, the two brought a whole new type of stage to the table

During the concert, Changmin and Yunho stood with the fans and battled out the extremely hot weather (32C), in which they easily defeated. Fans from the ages of 10 to 60 were present at the event, giving it a diverse environment. Children could be seen accompanied by their parents.

As their dream stage finally materialized in reality, the dream scale also followed. The concept of the concert was a clock that references their TIME album. Using the huge stage, the two used a 400 meter track to come closer to their fans.

The group performed the first songs in this order:

FATED

ANDROID

Super Star

I Don’t Know

After these four songs, Yunho made an announcement by saying,

Welcome to the Tohoshinki Live Tour Nissan Stadium concert. Do not lose to the heat! Let’s make this day your most memorable day in the summer.

Member Changmin also added,

Singing live at the stadium is my new goal. I want to reach this goal with everyone here.

Finishing their introductory announcements, the group continued on to sing:

STILL

Duet

One More Thing

Y3K

I Know

One and Only One

O Sei Han Go

Survivor

OCEAN

Purple Line

HUMANOIDS

Rat Tat Tat

The songs and stage was filled with artistic lighting and directing, grabbing the fans attention and heart.

When the fans sang Heart, Mind, and Soul with the group, the whole stadium was suddenly put on a blue spotlight, as it turned out to be a surprise gift to the fans from the group.

Another highlight of the concert was the special solo stages that were created solely for this tour. Leader Yunho appeared in a cool suit and sang the groovy song, T Style while maknae Changmin grabbed an electric guitar and transformed into a rocker, in which he performed Rock With You.

The two members traveled the long 400 meter track throughout the scorching several times, just to see their fans again and again. Various signed gifts from the duo were also personally thrown into the audience by them. Knowing that there were fans that weren’t able to make it to the concert, 38 theaters throughout Japan streamed the concert live.

The encore performance spectacularly ended the concert, as the two performed

Catch Me

Why (Keep Your Head Down)

SCREAM

SHINE

We Are

Summer Dream

In Our Time

Somebody To Love

Yunho was so happy that he named the performance as the greatest moment in his career. Changmin also commented,

Today is a great page in the history of Tohoshinki. I am grateful that I could spend the time with everyone today.
