Andy Cohen has reportedly said thanks, but NO THANKS to hosting the Miss Universe 2013 pageant being held in Russia this year.

And all we can say is…

BRAVO ANDY!!!

The Watch What Happens Live star told his long-time pal and pageant co-host Giuliana Rancic that he will NOT be joining her onstage because of discriminatory new laws being enforced in Russia.

Andy explained his decision further, saying:

"The law is that anyone under suspicion of homosexuality can be arrested. [I] didn't feel right as a gay man stepping foot into Russia."

We TOTALLY understand his cause for concern! Right now is NOT the time to visit Russia, especially if you're gay!

No word yet on who will possibly replace Andy, who also serves as the Executive V.P. of Development at Bravo. The cable network's parent company, NBC will be broadcasting the pageant.

Think Andy made the right move???
