K-pop’s sexiest icon, Brown Eyed Girls‘ Gain, shows her usual sultry self and a bit of bondage on the August 2013 issue of Vogue Korea. The concept for the editorial is all Gain: sensuality and mysterious charisma and heavy eye makeup. All in all, everything that is expected and already seen from her. In the interview section, the singer commented:
If you consider yourself as a pro, you have to open up your mind for skin exposure or sexy performance. Professional singers should accept and manage the concept of their songs and what the songwriter asks for.
Gain is fierce and sexy –there’s no question about that. Her ability to master both is also not in question but, as mentioned before, we have all seen Gain doing this every time. And even though she might be an advocate for going against the cutesy image in K-pop, it’s beginning to feel repetitive and mundane. Change it up, girl! We all know you’re sexy and seductive, what else can you do?
