“Future Choice” Begins Airing Tomorrow! Will it be as Successful as “Good Doctor?”

Will actress Yoon Eun Hye rise to the top again with a role in another romantic comedy?

KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Future Choice” begins tomorrow. Much anticipation is being focused on the new series especially since its predecessor, “Good Doctor,” achieved much success bringing in as much as 20% in ratings.

“Future Choice” is about a girl named Na Mi Rae (Yoon Eun Hye), who receives a visit from the future Mi Rae (Choi Myung Gil). The future Mi Rae gives advice to the present Mi Rae in her decision-making in order to redirect her destiny into a different direction.

“Future Choice” consists of the “future self” and the “present self” meeting in one place distinguishing itself from the conventional time slip dramas we have seen before.

Previous time slip dramas include SBS’ “Rooftop Prince,” tvN’s “Queen In Hyun’s Man,” and “Nine: Nine Time Travels.” It is a concept that has become a 100% box office hit. The prospect is that “Future’s Choice” will receive positive effects as a time slip drama, which is guaranteed to succeed.

Moreover, another key point is the question of whether Yoon Eun Hye will rise to the top once again especially since she has not starred in a box office hit since MBC’s “Goong,” and “Coffee Prince.” She is predicted to set the bar high with her energetic and lovely charm as well as appealing to the audience with a more mature image than before.

Hong Jin Ah, the writer of MBC’s “Over the Rainbow,” “Beethoven Virus,” and “The King 2 Hearts,” is known for coming up with new materials and approaches to writing. The prediction is that her writing skills will add another positive synergy to the drama.

With Yoon Eun Hye and her strength in romantic comedies and the time slip theme that has proven to produce box office hits, it is expected “Future Choice” will triumph with is competitors, MBC’s “Goddess of Fire,” and SBS’ “The Suspicious Housekeeper.”
