Returning to her original job, IU will be making a comeback as a singer in October.
Loen Entertainment to eNEWS on September 10, “IU is currently preparing for an early October comeback,” and “The actual date is still being decided, but we’re thinking it would be around October 7.”
IU will be returning as a singer in one year and four months after she released A Day’s End in May of 2012.
She finished her challenged as an actress, starring in the recently finished KBS drama, You’re the Best Lee Soon Shin. Although there were some worries as she jumped into the acting world, but IU received a lot of praise for her strong acting from other actors, like Lee Mi Sook.
However, as she will be returning as a singer, she will be putting her acting career aside for now.
“We’ve been preparing this album since March-April,” said the agency. “We will be focusing on her career as a singer. We’ll think about her acting once that’s over.”
