Returning to singing, IU’s name appeared in the Top 10 of Japan’s Oricon Chart for her third single.
On September 11, Orico Chart ranked IU’s third single, Monday Afternoon number nine on the daily single chart.
While ranking lower than her debut single, Good Day from 2012 and You & I, which placed eighth and fourth respectively, as IU was gone from being a singer for more than a year and she still managed to climb into the top 10 charts, the single is still showing good results.
The title song, Monday Afternoon is a song of a woman who developed a crush.
Meanwhile, IU will be meeting with fans through album release events in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya starting from September 21 for three days.
